AP review books...

Which review book is the best for AP bio and AP calc BC?  Barron's or Princeton Review?

Wow.  I had it all wrong.

"It is true that we lose about a hundred thousand of them [neurons] every day... but since we start out with thirteen to fourteen billion, the loss is unimportant."

"[the brain's] functioning can also be impaired by stress, anxiety, and mental illness.  Overwork can be another cause of impairment."

I returned from china the day before yesterday, only to be hit with the strangely clean scent of america and the plague of jet-lag.  Somehow, insomnia and random bouts of energy had me waking up at three or four o'clock in the morning, falling asleep around noon, then waking up around eight to rampage during the dark hours of the night... and dozing off during the day when I should be studying for the precalc placement exam (tomorrow!).  While reviewing cross-products, my left brain seemed to have shut down, causing me to assume 3 squared = 36, 0*1 = -1, and 1-9 = -9.  This strange behavior can be attributed to the fact that china and america have a twelve-hour time difference and that I can't do math when I should be sleeping.

Though these two days at home are most likely the most unproductive [and inconvenient] precalc-studying times, I managed to study at least four hours a day in china on weekdays, confined to the room in my grandparents' home with an excellent view of the street below, without any sound barriers to protect my sanity from the cacophony created.  Unfortunately, these hours did not include the four days during which I was ill, possibly due to heat-stroke, pollution, or eating out...  At least half a chapter of the book or one packet was done per day, but because I was going at a fast pace with material I had not seen before, a lot of what I should have remembered dissolved away on the plane ride back home.

America smells clean.

Really.

EDIT:  can't live without xanga.  :D
I'm bored...  Someone entertain me.  I've taken to reading fp's lately...  A lot of them are crap, though.  So far, the only one I actually like is The Cynic's Creed.

hmm.  I'm going to try to spend ONE week without:
  • AIM
  • listening to music
  • xanga...
  • sitting around doing absolutely nothing
I figure I spend my "free time" doing what's listed above, rather than concentrating on more :important: matters.  I guess I'll see how it goes by about the time school ends...

I REALLY gotta concentrate.
